The finish I use is 100% natural, making it food safe, whether it is cheese, fruits or some other tasty treat - these provide a unique way to present your offerings.
An alternative option, which I often do, is to use them as a bit of a trinket tray.
Looks good while also keeps some daily essentials where I need them!

This is finished with 100% natural oil and then wax.
The oil ingredients - Refined hemp oil, raw linseed oil and orange oil.
The wax ingredients - Devon beeswax, raw linseed oil & orange oil.
Care:
The oil and wax are food safe, so pieces are ready to be used.
Oil and wax does wear off in time, at a quicker rate if the piece is used often.
In light of this, best practice is to periodically, depending on usage, apply new oil and wax layers to ensure their longevity and hygiene.
