Here we have an off white jesmonite base with an abstract copper finish giving it a distressed vibe.

Overview :

Made from Jesmonite, an eco resin which is non-toxic, water based and sustainable.

This piece uses a copper mica powder to create the metallic distressed effect.

The smooth finish often resembles concrete or stone.

Please be aware that in some instances small air bubbles can be seen on pieces due to the nature of the material.

Each piece is handmade, so while items will be similar, none are exactly the same.

Sealant:

Each Jesmonite piece of mine is sealed with a 100% natural wax.

This provides a level of water resistance, as Jesmonite is naturally porous, absorbing liquids, scents and stains. Please note that this is resistance, the piece is NOT waterproof.

The wax helps reduce discolouration.

Care Guidance:

The wax does wear off over time, more quickly if the piece is handled frequently.

In light of this, best practice is to periodically, depending on usage, apply new wax layers to ensure protection and water resistance.
